About Chris Carroll

Chris' Passion For Coaching

Chris Carroll started playing golf for fun at the age of 14. He then started playing competitively in Belfast at Shandon Park Golf Club. He turned professional in 2014 whilst playing in the USA. He has recently just secured his 2022 EuroPro Tour Status.

Since then, he started a career with the PGA.

He worked as the Assistant Professional at Dunmurry Golf Club for 2 years and then moved to Royal County Down Golf Club in Newcastle under Kevan Whitson (Head Professional) and John Murray (Senior Assistant).

Chris has always had a love for coaching. He coaches people of all abilities and ages. The youngest person he coaches is just 4 years old!

He offers great, friendly and specific advice to your individual needs, which includes a video analysis sent to you and follow up texts.

He will help you develop skills, confidence and the consistency to effectively deal with the challenges which you may encounter on and off the course.

Lessons

Whether you're starting out, or are an experienced golfer looking to improve your game, Chris coaches all levels and ages. Chris has built his own personal Trackman 4 studio for everyone to feel welcome and confident in.

Chris is a Trackman Level 2 Certified Instructor and has his Level 2 Golf Coaching Certificate.

If you are looking for a private 1:1 golf lesson or a small group session, the studio will be perfect for you!

The studio has air conditioning/heating and a Nespresso machine.

PGA Qualification

When Chris started his PGA training with the University of Birmingham, he was appointed as the Assistant Professional at Dunmurry Golf Club.

He really enjoyed his time there and appreciated the support he received from the members and staff.

Chris completed his PGA training as the Assistant Professional at Royal County Down Golf Club in Newcastle, Northern Ireland. He was appointed in March 2019 where he worked alongside Kevan Whitson and John Murray.

Chris started The Royal County Down Golf Academy where he ran an enjoyable and successful Juniour Academy with fun, well attended camps.
